Please join us on Wednesday, April 8th from noon to 1 p.m. for the program There Used to be a Railroad with Michael McCann. From love for history and aerial photography, Mr. McCann has developed this presentation where individuals will be taken on a pictorial flight across the Garden State of the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s and its once extensive network of railroads. Genealogy 1: Finding Your Ancestors at the Library

This forty-five minute session is designed to introduce you to the Genealogy and Local History Collection at the State Library.  You will learn about the library’s most useful genealogical resources and find out where they are located in the library.  The presentation will also include a brief introduction to what genealogy is all about and provide a few pointers on how to begin searching for your ancestors.
